SaaS Engineer – Atlassian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Loom, and Atlassian Rovo.

• Set up and provide support for projects, workflows, permissions, custom fields, issue types, screens, and configuration schemes.

• Assist with platform upgrades, feature deployments, and configuration modifications.

• Monitor the health, reliability, and performance of the platform.

• Resolve platform issues and liaise with Atlassian support as necessary.

• Enforce established governance standards and best practices for the platform.

• Conduct platform maintenance and cleanup activities, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, schemes, and obsolete projects.

• Promote standardization efforts across Jira and Confluence.

• Aid in minimizing platform complexity and reducing technical debt.

• Create and manage Jira Automation rules and enhance workflows.

• Develop integrations utilizing Atlassian REST APIs and sanctioned automation platforms.

• Execute solutions devised by senior team members and platform stakeholders.

• Facilitate the automation of onboarding processes, approvals, notifications, reporting, and operational workflows.

• Serve as an escalation point for complex Atlassian platform issues.

• Diagnose intricate issues related to Jira, Confluence, and Loom.

• Construct and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Atlassian administration.

• Proficient hands-on experience with:

• ○ Jira Cloud

• ○ Confluence Cloud

• ○ Jira Automation

• ○ Atlassian Administration

• Experience in configuring workflows, permissions, schemes, custom fields, screens, and templates.

• Familiarity with Atlassian REST APIs and integrations.

• Background in scripting or automation using languages such as Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or PowerShell.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
