This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of demo configuration specialists in managing, maintaining, and upgrading top-tier demonstration environments that enable Solution Advisory to deliver high-impact value demonstrations.

• Oversee the upgrade process by collaborating closely with product and operations teams to ensure demo environment uptime and performance quality.

• Manage various stakeholders while ensuring scalable, efficient, and feature-rich demo transactions, process flows, and reporting.

• Supervise a virtual team of GDS business and technical engineers and coordinate contributions from essential stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Delivery, Implementation, Legal, and IT/Security.

• Oversee the ticket request process from initiation to completion using Jira, assigning team members to ticket issues, tracking progress, collaborating with subject matter experts, and resolving outstanding issues.

• Organize and facilitate bid-related meetings, ensuring alignment among all contributors.

• Clearly inform the VSA team, Sales Leaders, and Account Executives when a no-bid decision is made for unqualified and time-sensitive proposal requests.

• Design and develop intelligent agents using Coupa Agent Studio to automate intricate workflows.

• Leverage Coupa Compose to create solution proof-of-concepts utilizing Coupa AI technologies.

• Implement prompt engineering and LLM orchestration logic to guarantee that agents are accurate, context-aware, and high-performing.

• Create and connect prototypes through MCP, A2A, BYOA to various systems and data sources, including ERPs (SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, NetSuite…), middleware systems, and third-party data providers.

• Develop and maintain middleware/scripts to enable seamless data exchange via APIs and JSON/XML formats.

• Ensure bi-directional data integrity between AI agents and third-party environments.

• Collaborate with Solution Advisors to translate "customer pain points" into technical requirements for rapid prototyping.

• Engage in discovery sessions to deliver technical feasibility assessments for custom AI solutions.

• Participate in dry-run and demonstration walkthroughs to review your AI Agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience leading a global demo environment team, ideally within the technology or SAAS Spend Management sector.

• Background in software development, emphasizing enterprise applications and application modernization, preferably in the technology or SAAS domain.

• Full Stack Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience across the entire application stack (front-end, back-end, database, infrastructure) with strong expertise in one or more modern programming languages.

• Experience in the Spend Management industry.

• Practical experience with AI-related technologies.

• Hands-on familiarity with data management tools, development, and RDBMS.

• Strong grasp of project management frameworks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects to successful completion.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective risk management skills.

• Creative, innovative thinker with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related), Writing, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
