Rust Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Engage in a new initiative utilizing Rust for high-performance distributed data processing.

• Develop new functionalities while enhancing the robustness, performance, and resilience of the Rust codebase.

• Tackle complex business challenges by designing and implementing robust code and optimization algorithms.

• Collaborate with internal project stakeholders and clients to design and build services.

• Construct and oversee scalable cloud software solutions utilizing full infrastructure as code in a GCP container environment.

• Work with machine learning, optimization, and AI technologies.

• Regularly deliver functional Rust software and contribute to the development of AI-centric products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced software developer.

• Demonstrated commercial expertise in Rust development.

• Strong skills in low-latency data handling and data transformation.

• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, scaling, and resilience.

• Experience in building and managing containerized solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Self-motivated individual with outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Terraform, Kustomize, Argo CD or similar tools, Python, Golang.
