Ruby on Rails Engineer, Front-end Skills

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Create Ruby on Rails applications focusing on front-end development.

• Transform concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing product implementations.

• Manage projects with minimal supervision.

• Engage directly with users of the tools you develop.

• Collaborate remotely via Zoom and Slack.

• Support Decile Group's objective of launching innovative venture capital firms and managing the Decile Hub platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient Ruby on Rails developer with a strong focus on front-end development.

• Must reside and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time.

• Capable of independently managing a project and collaborating directly with users of your tools.

• Above-average skills in front-end development.

• Comfortable and self-assured in front-end technologies.

• Able to take a project from inception to execution with limited guidance.

• Strong communicator in both written and spoken English.

• Over 3 years of coding experience, particularly in front-end technologies (Turbo, Hotwire, Stimulus, Tailwind).

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or another open-source stack.

• Proficient in JavaScript.

• Experience with Tailwind or a similar CSS library.

• Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud.

• Willingness to complete a Rails coding challenge as part of the interview process.
