RPA Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the comprehensive design and implementation of enterprise automation solutions utilizing RPA and intelligent automation platforms.

• Take ownership of the technical architecture from the discovery phase to deployment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams.

• Develop a complete automation architecture, encompassing process assessment, solution design, infrastructure planning, and deployment strategies.

• Direct the technical implementation across UiPath, Power Automate, and Blue Prism, choosing the most suitable tool based on the specific use case, scalability, and client environment.

• Establish architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and coding/design best practices across automation teams.

• Conduct feasibility studies and perform technical due diligence for complex automation projects.

• Create solutions that integrate RPA with APIs, databases, ERP systems (such as SAP and Oracle), and cloud platforms (including Azure and AWS).

• Manage non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, exception handling, logging, and disaster recovery.

• Assist developers through solution design documents (SDD), PDD reviews, and code/architecture evaluations.

• Oversee bot orchestration, licensing, environment setup (development, testing, production), and CI/CD pipelines for automation deployment.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Provide technical governance, risk mitigation, and escalation support throughout the automation program.

• Mentor RPA developers and aid in building capabilities within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years focused specifically on RPA/intelligent automation architecture.

• Practical architecture-level experience with UiPath, Power Automate, and Blue Prism (multi-tool exposure is essential, not limited to a single platform).

• Demonstrated success in delivering end-to-end automation solutions, from discovery/assessment to production go-live.

• Strong knowledge of RPA architecture components: Orchestrator/Control Room, robots, queues, and credential/asset management.

• Hands-on experience with Document Understanding frameworks (UiPath Document Understanding, AI Builder, IQ Bot) for extracting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

• Familiarity with ABBYY FlexiCapture / ABBYY OCR for intelligent document processing and its integration with RPA workflows.

• Experience in process assessment and automation feasibility using COE frameworks.

• Working knowledge of integration patterns involving APIs, web services, databases (SQL), and enterprise applications.

• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled automation is highly advantageous.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerization concepts.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation abilities.

• Relevant certifications are preferred, such as UiPath Solution Architect / Advanced RPA Developer, Blue Prism Solution Designer, Microsoft Power Platform certifications, and ABBYY certification (if applicable).
