Route Optimization Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Essential team member in a fast-paced, high-volume, and dynamic fulfillment setting.

• Accountable for strategic management, process implementation, and timely delivery of route output solutions.

• Perform continuous engineering and optimization of all market center service routes to enhance efficiency and labor trends.

• Tasked with involving and guiding critical team members in the system data cleanup to ensure precise engineered route output.

• Aids in the creation and distribution of delivery metrics as required.

• Recognized as the company expert on route engineering software and statistical route data.

• Develop documentation for Route Engineering processes and establish project timeline expectations for all ongoing and future projects.

• Collaborate with key departments and Market Centers on continuous route maintenance opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 4 years of progressive experience in complex supply chain and logistics operations.

• In-depth knowledge of route optimization or the capacity and willingness to learn route modeling principles and techniques.

• Demonstrated operational and technical proficiency.

• Strong analytical and data skills in developing actionable KPIs and metrics related to service and cost.

• Analytical mindset for problem-solving and a commitment to delivering service excellence to our customers.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
