This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage incoming calls and facilitate communication between Rohingya and English speakers.
• Eliminate language barriers across various sectors.
• Quickly process information while being aware of sensitive cultural nuances.
• Uphold professionalism and courtesy throughout interpreting sessions.
• Adhere to client directives and ensure their expectations are thoroughly met.
• Proficiency in both Rohingya and English, with a strong understanding of their cultural contexts.
• Capability to offer cultural insights and evaluate regional and accent variations.
• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.
• Capacity to focus, remain objective, and detached from discussions.
• Educational background or experience in language-related areas such as teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation is preferred.
• Must be adaptable to any advancements in LLS technology.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in reading and writing the specified languages is highly preferred.
