This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Translate content from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning in a way that is clear and comprehensible to the target audience.

• Ensure that the specified customer requirements are strictly adhered to or appropriately addressed.

• Undertake supportive tasks essential to the translation process, such as maintaining a glossary, coordinating with other translators, preparing evaluation reports, and providing and receiving training.

• Strive for excellence in technical translation by consistently enhancing skills and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Translation/Applied Languages or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Proficient in the host language, both written and spoken, as well as fluent in the respective translated language, in both written and spoken forms.

• Good proficiency with standard software, including Windows and Office applications.

• Experience with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.

• Ability to effectively present information and address queries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and linguists.

• Capability to solve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

• Quick learner, driven, and adaptable.

• If working remotely, must be able to collaborate with a distributed team.
