This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance advanced robotic systems operating within customer locations throughout the Western U.S.
• Manage a territory focused on California's Inland Empire — our Southern California cluster (Ontario, Perris, Fullerton) — with frequent travel to Northern California (Stockton, Belmont) and support for surge, deployment, and new product introduction nationwide.
• Ensure the fleet's reliability while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Every issue you document and analyze contributes directly to the development of our next generation of products.
• As a Level II technician, independently oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within your territory.
• As a Level III technician, act as the regional escalation contact for the West Coast, mentor Level II/I technicians, and serve as the senior technical authority for complex diagnostics and root-cause analyses.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, building, maintaining, or deploying electromechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Practical experience with motors, sensors, actuators, drives, pneumatics, conveyors, robotics, industrial automation, CNC, AGVs, AMRs, or similar systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Comfortable using multimeters, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Diligent documentation practices — you diligently record your work and consistently adhere to standard operating procedures, even in field environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with a tendency to over-communicate by default — comfortable working asynchronously over Slack and proactive in keeping the team and customers informed.
• Adaptable to challenging situations — able to navigate ambiguity, identify solutions, and drive issues to resolution without a predefined plan.
• Strong capability to independently manage customer relationships — no office or on-site manager.
• Self-motivated and accountable: you organize your own schedule, routes, and priorities.
• Willingness to travel (~75%) and take full ownership of problems from start to finish.
• Based in the Riverside / Inland Empire area (or willing to relocate).
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Level II: approximately 2+ years of experience in maintaining industrial automation, robotics, conveyors, packaging equipment, AGVs/AMRs, CNC, or similar electromechanical systems.
• Level III: approximately 5+ years of experience, with a proven record of leading challenging diagnostics, independently conducting root-cause investigations, and being the go-to person for peers to escalate issues to.
• Fully employer-covered health insurance.
• Managed 401(k).
• Regular in-office meals.
• Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
• Paid holidays.
• Social events.
• Collaborative, low-ego work culture.
