This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of robotics initiatives from initial concept through to final deployment.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgetary limits.
• Collaborate closely with a team of engineers and technicians.
• Possess extensive knowledge in robotics engineering, including expertise in robotic hardware, software, sensors, and control systems.
• Work in partnership with cross-disciplinary teams to establish system requirements, create architecture, and design robotic solutions.
• Lead ongoing improvement efforts to bolster the capabilities, reliability, and scalability of robotics systems.
• A Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering is required.
• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in the offered position or a related field focused on the development and implementation of autonomous robotics systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Robot Operating System (ROS) is necessary (gained through academic or professional experience).
• A solid understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, perception, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), sensor fusion, state estimation, control, navigation, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.
