RPA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Identify opportunities for automation within operations teams focusing on repetitive manual workflows.

• Design and implement RPA bots to alleviate manual tasks across various internal and client-facing platforms.

• Manage the complete automation process from start to finish, which includes stakeholder communication, SOP development, bot creation, and monitoring after production.

• Initiate projects from the ground up even in the absence of extensive prior documentation and navigate ambiguity without needing close supervision.

• Engage directly with operations specialists responsible for the processes being automated.

• Collaborate with external client portal teams and tool vendors for feature enhancements, bug fixes, and resolving issues.

• Default to over-communication to ensure all stakeholders are aligned in a multi-stakeholder setting.

• Customize updates for the relevant audience, offering root cause analysis, actions taken, and suggested next steps instead of generic status reports.

• Regularly monitor dashboards and bot performance even post-project completion to proactively identify any issues.

• Immediately escalate issues to stakeholders with context, root cause identification, actions already taken, and recommended next steps.

• Utilize analytics tools for management-level reporting.

• Develop and maintain SOPs for all automation processes.

• Document bot logic, configurations, and communications with vendors for future reference and handoff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in RPA development with proficiency in building and deploying bots independently.

• Familiarity with web crawler-based or similar RPA platforms with the capacity to quickly adapt from related tool experience.

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, capable of managing updates for multiple audiences simultaneously.

• Proactive problem solver who provides root cause analysis, trend identification, actions taken, and next steps in every update rather than merely reporting status.

• Strong ownership mentality with the ability to oversee the entire automation lifecycle without needing to be managed on tasks.

• Naturally proactive: you monitor your work post-delivery, identify issues before being prompted, and regard post-production as an integral part of the role.

• Ability to thrive in a high-coordination, multi-stakeholder environment where communication is just as crucial as technical execution.

• Strong discipline in remote work, enabling you to maintain visibility and presence without being physically present in an office.
