This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Implement a strategic go-to-market strategy to enhance ABB’s pipeline and transform opportunities into sales.
• Identify and engage potential end users, system integrators, machine builders, and channel partners to promote ABB’s collaborative robot offerings in both the industrial and consumer electronics sectors.
• Work closely with ABB’s robotics channel partners and regional sales teams to assist in the development and qualification of robotics opportunities, while conducting technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations to highlight robotics capabilities and value propositions.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns, regional events, and webinars aimed at increasing awareness of ABB's products, and represent ABB at industry trade shows, expos, and automation events to enhance ABB Robotics' visibility and market share.
• Provide customer feedback to global product management and engineering teams to aid in portfolio development, while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and industry trends in robotics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Business, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in sales or business development within the fields of industrial automation, robotics, or collaborative robotics; or a combination of education and experience, such as an Associate's degree and 10+ years of relevant work history.
• Extensive experience and knowledge in environments critical to the manufacturing and production sectors of the Electronics Industries.
• Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to oversee a sales pipeline.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the U.S., focusing on your designated territory.
• Strong understanding of robotic applications relevant to the Electronics Industry, including assembly, picking, packing, palletizing, and mobile robotics, is preferred.
• Excellent technical aptitude and the ability to articulate value-based selling strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences is desired.
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to be employed by ABB in the U.S.
