This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and enhancement of actuarial modeling for XO’s risk-sharing and value-oriented frameworks, which encompass provider performance pricing and evaluations, employer pricing, and financial insights into risk-based agreements.

• Oversee XO Health’s stop-loss and reinsurance strategy, including the design of products for small to mid-sized employers, management of provider risk strategies, pricing contributions, partner coordination, and performance monitoring.

• Facilitate RFP processes and nurture relationships with MGUs, captives, and carriers to support external partners in assessing and pricing XO’s models.

• Propel XO’s strategy for high-cost claims through analytical approaches and interventions that encompass clinical, financial, and contractual aspects.

• Aid in the reporting and communication of financial performance, risk solutions, pricing strategies, and model assumptions to both internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team and advisory or corporate boards.

• Take ownership of the complete execution of cross-functional initiatives involving analytics, finance, commercial, clinical, and provider strategy teams to establish scalable, technology-enabled pricing and risk management capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial modeling, pricing, or financial strategy within a payer, MGU, stop-loss carrier, or provider environment.

• Must be within two years of obtaining ASA credentials (mandatory).

• Strong understanding of healthcare data, including claims, episodes, actuarial values, and stop-loss policies.

• Familiarity with the economics of value-based care.

• Capability to construct models, integrate information, and effectively communicate findings to varied audiences.

• Proficiency in Excel is required.

• Experience with SQL is advantageous.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, startup-like atmosphere.

• Ability to lead cross-functional projects with minimal supervision.

• Possess a mission-driven mindset and enthusiasm to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of healthcare.
