Risk PMO Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and execute significant global programs from start to finish, encompassing strategy formulation, project planning, daily tracking, and change management.

• Lead transformative enhancements in our operational processes, actively engaging in the development of systems and workflows that enhance business results and key performance indicators.

• Integrate compliance with commercial strategy by collaborating with GTM and account leadership to convert intricate regulatory requirements into a competitive edge that fosters strong user trust.

• Develop and manage operating models across various cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance), ensuring that widely distributed workstreams are aligned and accountable.

• Act as a trusted advisor by preparing strategic reviews for senior stakeholders and addressing critical escalations effectively.

• Convert user friction into program development by implementing structured, data-driven methods to collect user feedback and transforming these insights into actionable product and operational enhancements.

• Identify and resolve systemic operational issues before they affect our users, creating self-healing processes and scalable internal systems.

• Advocate for Stripe’s Operating Principles by nurturing a high-performance culture that emphasizes rigorous thinking, swift execution, and prioritizing user needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Program Management, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy within a dynamic, high-growth setting.

• Proven hands-on execution experience: Demonstrated capability to operate independently as an individual contributor, managing intricate, multi-stakeholder project plans and deliverables from initiation to conclusion.

• Outstanding communication & storytelling skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; a track record of simplifying complex, technical, or regulatory subjects into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for senior and external audiences.

• Systems and infrastructure developer: Extensive experience in designing, launching, and scaling complex cross-functional operating models, feedback mechanisms, and PMO frameworks.

• Growth-oriented mindset: A strong willingness to learn, adapt swiftly to changing circumstances, and proactively seek and act on feedback for continuous improvement.
