Risk Performance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support and facilitate the attainment of enterprise objectives

• Proactively recognize and mitigate overlapping financial, clinical, and client-retention risks

• Monitor intricate interdepartmental risks and engage stakeholders to enhance alignment

• Assist in implementing strategies for risk mitigation

• Deliver performance reports on clients and initiatives to leadership stakeholders

• Act as a subject matter expert for new products and services impacting various departments

• Gather, develop, and report on strategic project advancements related to interdepartmental risks

• Establish consultative relationships across departments to comprehend opportunities, identify risks, and devise mitigation strategies

• Conduct comparative analyses over different time periods for clients or Books of Business

• Monitor essential statistics for key clients and initiatives, encompassing clinical utilization and financial performance

• Identify, assess, and communicate trends at both the Book of Business and client levels

• Collaborate on tracking, setting targets and goals, product strategies, and solutions

• Perform ROI analyses and performance monitoring, while identifying enhancements for products and solutions

• Utilize Databricks, Power BI, and DOMO, along with project management tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA

• Assist with various ad hoc projects involving risk teams

• Adhere to interdepartmental practices and protocols alongside Finance, UW, and Client Experience

• Maintain relationships with Client Account Management, Finance, and Care/Clinical Management

• Address ad hoc requests from Care Management, Client Experience, and Finance teams

• Provide support to colleagues as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum of 1 year of PBM experience or at least 2 years in Analytics, Finance, Business Intelligence, or a related field

• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills

• Capability to craft and convey clear, concise, and customer-focused messages and presentations to all levels of the company

• Strong data science proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or SAS

• Analytical expertise, including the ability to conduct complex analyses and make recommendations based on statistical findings

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-oriented environment

• Relationship-building and networking capabilities within the internal organization

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience working with healthcare claims data and/or pharmacy data

• Preferred: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Domo
