
Risk Exchange FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and assist in the creation of the annual strategic plan, budgets, and ongoing forecasts.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis on risk exchange operations, agency performance, and insurance outcomes.
• Convert financial data into concise narratives for senior leadership.
• Examine and present monthly management reports concerning agency and insurance operations.
• Recognize trends, variances, and actionable insights.
• Aid senior management with ad hoc business analysis and strategic projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, US and European finance teams, CFOs, Accounting, and Actuarial departments.
• Act as a vital finance partner to the Distribution team, addressing data requirements and monitoring business performance.
• Foster effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Assist in the monthly close and financial reporting processes.
• Create and uphold management reporting packages for leadership evaluation.
• Support the establishment, implementation, and adoption of Pigment as the enterprise planning platform.
• Identify and spearhead initiatives to redesign planning workflows utilizing AI and digital tools.
• Propel continuous improvement across FP&A processes, documentation, and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another analytical field.
• 5 - 7+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities; advanced expertise in Excel.
• Proven ability to manage comprehensive analysis from start to finish, including data collection and insight communication.
• Experience in presenting financial results and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to simplify complex information into clear narratives.
• Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands in a dynamic environment.
• Proven history of driving process enhancements and maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
• Preferred: Experience in specialty insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
• Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise planning tools such as Pigment, Tagetik, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Preferred: Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Preferred: Exposure to AI or automation tools applied to finance workflows.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting or leading planning system implementations.
