Accounts Specialist – Finance Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately process and manage outgoing payments in a timely manner

• Verify and reconcile invoices from suppliers

• Maintain comprehensive vendor records

• Ensure adherence to financial policies

• Address and resolve payment discrepancies

• Handle supplier invoices and month-end tasks

• Pay suppliers in accordance with terms while upholding company controls

• Respond to inquiries from suppliers and clients via email

• Conduct statement reconciliations

• Collaborate with other departments and the Accounts team to ensure precise financial recording and control

• Execute accounts receivable tasks along with other ad hoc responsibilities

• Investigate discrepancies between invoices, payments, and credit notes

• Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve mismatches and errors

• Document issues related to discrepancies and ensure follow-through to resolution

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or College Degree in Accounting, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, or an equivalent field

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

• Familiarity with accounting systems and tools is a plus

• Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities

• Effective prioritization skills to meet set deadlines

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Capability in efficient time management and task prioritization

• Ability to conduct internet research and demonstrate computer skills

• High attention to detail with the capacity to focus for extended periods
