Risk Control Account Executive – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborates with underwriting to advance corporate strategies for a Business Unit (BU)

• Enhances distribution engagement by fortifying relationships with agents and brokers

• Acts as the primary Risk Control account executive

• Creates global account strategies aimed at positively influencing loss ratios

• Provides technical expertise to support the BU

• Partners with BU leadership to assess and guide the evaluation of large and complex risks

• Delivers capability and stewardship presentations as necessary

• Cultivates and sustains business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience

• Generally, a minimum of ten years of experience in risk control is expected

• Relevant professional designations are preferred, such as CSP, ARM, or other applicable credentials

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential

• Senior-level technical and business management expertise along with knowledge of insurance and risk management principles, practices, and procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software is required

• Must have the ability and willingness to travel 20-40% of the time
