This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Accountable for the daily preparation, cooking, stocking, and presentation of a diverse range of food items.
• Executes all primary food production tasks with specific items designated by the assigned shift.
• Reviews daily requirements with designated supervisor(s).
• Aids assigned supervisors in the development of menus and recipes.
• Prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner items, coffee, beverages, tray items, and more.
• Prepares, places, presents, and replenishes food items as necessary.
• Utilizes various food preparation techniques and equipment.
• Cleans different food service and food preparation equipment as well as storage areas.
• Engages with supervisors to discuss necessary meal items.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant restaurant cooking experience.
• Must possess or secure an Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification upon hiring.
• Must fulfill all pre-employment contractual obligations.
• Must be capable of collaborating and working effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to make decisions independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to remain standing for 12 hours per shift.
• Must be able to reside in dormitory-style accommodations.
• Candidates must be proficient in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English.
• Pay is determined based on experience (DOE).
