Revit HVAC Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Develop 2D and 3D shop drawings, coordination layouts, and fabrication plans for ductwork, piping, and equipment.

• Coordinate HVAC layouts with architectural, electrical, and plumbing plans to prevent conflicts.

• Update blueprints based on site changes, inspections, and engineering notes.

• Assist in creating material lists, equipment schedules, and final as-built drawings.

• Ensure designs comply with local building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE.

• Prepare drawings from provided plans and sketches.

• Deliver timely updates regarding drawing completion and workload.

• Oversee department workflow and output, prioritizing and delegating projects.

• Ensure finished projects meet customer and project specifications.

• Carry out other related tasks as necessary.

• Utilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Discord, Hubstaff, WhatsApp, Zoom, AutoCAD, Revit, and PDF Editor in work-related activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English: upper intermediate, advanced, or proficient level.

• Solid and verifiable background in engineering/architecture with relevant experience.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Lumion.

• 2 to 4 years of practical experience in mechanical drafting or HVAC design.

• High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with 3D tools such as Revit or BIM.

• Strong understanding of HVAC components, duct sizing, and piping layouts.

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or diploma in drafting, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience and proficiency in drafting using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.

• Excellent attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork abilities.

• Professional demeanor and ethical conduct.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to convey information among expert teams.

• Ability to independently organize tasks and maintain detailed records of activities and processes.

• Skill in identifying, establishing, and assigning priorities.

• Ability to follow instructions or specific directives as needed.

• Portfolio or sample projects required for evaluation.

• Must possess a personal computer with internet access.

• Comfort with using Hubstaff time tracking software.

• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for a U.S. work permit will be inquired during the application process.
