This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Conduct research and implement changes to system architecture for insurance setup objects to support revenue generation and claims for billing.
• Integrate and address intricate payer contract requirements within DaVita’s systems.
• Address inquiries from internal teams regarding contracts, revenue, plan management, and billing attributes.
• Perform tasks within the revenue operations department related to contract management, revenue management, or insurance plan management, including billing templates (e.g., UB04, HCFA 1500).
• Engage with insurance payers to grasp network coverage, contractual relationships, and terms to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursements for dialysis services provided at our clinics.
• Process requests from payers, partners, and customers to ensure accurate billing by loading center and payer information into the billing system, including single patient agreements.
• Respond promptly and accurately to communications and bulletins from payers.
• Collaborate with other revenue operations teams to ensure efficient processes across departments.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and opportunities for ongoing enhancements.
• Consistently maintain up-to-date system setup attributes, including new technologies and charge master items.
• Uphold the confidentiality of all company and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.
• Comprehend how setup objects, contract requirements, payer specifications, and system logic interrelate within the billing system by gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data from source systems.
• Attend scheduled team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions.
• May be required to work overtime as necessary.
• Be knowledgeable about and adhere to teammate guidelines, employment policies, and departmental or company procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue operations or with various healthcare insurance payers is required.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills: both written and verbal.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to adapt swiftly and manage stress effectively.
• Demonstrated ability in relationship building.
