Revenue Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and implement changes to the system architecture for insurance setup objects that facilitate revenue and claims billing.

• Address and manage intricate payer contract requirements within DaVita’s systems.

• Provide responses to internal inquiries concerning contracts, revenue, plan management, and billing attributes.

• Execute revenue operations tasks related to contract management, revenue oversight, or insurance plan administration, including UB04 and HCFA 1500 billing templates.

• Liaise with insurance payers regarding network coverage, relationships, and contract stipulations.

• Handle requests from payers, partners, and customers to input center and payer information into the billing system.

• Address communications and bulletins from payers.

• Collaborate with revenue operations teams to ensure efficient processes.

• Identify opportunities for process modifications and continuous improvement.

• Keep current with system setup attributes, new technologies, and charge master items.

• Uphold confidentiality in line with HIPAA and company policies.

• Gather, analyze, interpret, and summarize data from source systems.

• Participate in scheduled team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions.

• Be available for overtime as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in Revenue Operations or working with various health care insurance payers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

• Capability to quickly adapt and manage stress effectively.

• Skills in relationship-building and teamwork are important.

• Must maintain confidentiality regarding company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.
