Revenue Recovery Specialist, Workers Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee an inventory comprising multiple clients with diverse accounts that present complex challenges.

• Prepare and submit appeals along with necessary documentation promptly.

• Identify and address any existing issues that may be causing delays or preventing the payment of bills.

• Cultivate and maintain professional relationships and effective communication with patients, employers, and payer representatives.

• Acquire knowledge of and implement client-specific protocols and procedures.

• Exhibit proficiency in utilizing web portals, client systems, and databases as required to document and resolve accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• 1 to 3 years of experience managing Workers Compensation bills.

• Demonstrated success in collecting hospital claims from insurance providers.

• Experience in reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and appealing underpayment issues.
