This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Develop and implement a territory strategy for Nigeria, focusing on identifying, prioritizing, and securing new logos across Reap's three product offerings.
• Oversee corridor-specific revenue activities: Nigeria→China (import payments, supplier settlements), Nigeria→UAE (trade, logistics, re-export hubs), Nigeria→UK/Europe (professional services, tech outsourcing), and inbound USD/GBP/EUR collection flows for digital exporters and freelancers.
• Activate and grow accounts through Reap Connect (cross-border payouts and collections), Reap Direct (treasury and FX accounts), and Cards-as-a-Service (virtual and physical card issuance for fintechs and corporations).
• Acquire anchor clients — high-volume PSPs, fintechs, IMTOs, regulated crypto/VASP platforms, SME importers, and payroll/BPO companies — and develop them into referenceable, expanding accounts.
• Oversee the complete commercial lifecycle: outbound prospecting, discovery, commercial structuring, compliance coordination, onboarding, and expansion.
• Create and uphold a structured pipeline in HubSpot with precise forecasting and stage discipline.
• Serve as the market intelligence resource for Nigeria, providing corridor insights, competitor actions, client feedback, and regulatory updates to product and leadership teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to facilitate deals and expedite client onboarding.
• Contribute to shaping the Nigeria revenue playbook, which will guide future market hires across West Africa.
• 6–10 years of B2B commercial experience in payments, cross-border infrastructure, fintech, or financial services, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets rather than merely managing relationships.
• Direct experience with West Africa cross-border corridors, specifically Nigeria→China, Nigeria→UAE, or similar high-volume import/export or B2B payment transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to sell API-driven or infrastructure-layer products to both technical and commercial buyers, including PSPs, fintechs, neobanks, or enterprise operators.
• A strong hunter mentality: capable of building a target list, executing a disciplined outbound strategy, and closing deals without relying on a warm pipeline.
• Commercial fluency in both hunting and farming motions, allowing you to acquire new logos while nurturing existing ones without losing momentum on either front.
• In-depth understanding of the Nigerian fintech and payments landscape, including key players, regulatory frameworks (CBN, SEC), and the significant challenges faced by businesses in cross-border money movement.
• Familiarity with stablecoin settlements, USDT treasury flows, or crypto-native business models, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge and sell credibly in that sector.
• Strong CRM discipline and data-driven pipeline management skills (HubSpot preferred).
• Must be based in Nigeria, with a preference for candidates located in Lagos.
• A greenfield role: you will be establishing the commercial strategy function rather than maintaining an existing one.
• Direct influence on how Reap structures its pricing and packaging across all business lines.
• A high-impact position within a rapidly expanding fintech firm.
• A flexible hybrid work environment within a global, collaborative team.
• Comprehensive insurance coverage following the probation period.
• Reap Card stipend.
• Access to AI tools at work, along with opportunities to learn, experiment, and grow with them.
• A culture that promotes innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
