Revenue Cycle Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Verify insurance details

• Compile hospital invoices, complete necessary forms, and submit claims to the appropriate agencies/insurance companies

• Prepare bills and invoices for medical services and treatments

• Reach out to patients and insurance companies to collect outstanding insurance claims

• Establish payment plans for current and overdue patient accounts

• Contact and follow up with individuals to resolve account discrepancies

• Gather patients' insurance and financial details to facilitate payment for the facility

• Update and obtain medical authorization for payments from insurers

• Code patient insurance and demographic information for data entry

• Serve as a liaison between hospital departments and Aletheia staff to enhance the facility's revenue cycle

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in medical billing/revenue cycle is preferred

• General understanding of the hospital revenue cycle process

• Experience with Medicare is preferred

• Familiarity with Cerner, Trubridge, Quadax, SSI, and Meditech is preferred

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
