Revenue and Utility Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Managing key functions within a student and affordable housing portfolio concerning revenue management, utility oversight, and submetering processes.

• Enhances revenue and financial performance by assessing rent levels and market dynamics to guarantee communities maximize their income.

• Assists in managing utility allowances and submetering while ensuring adherence to LIHTC regulations.

• Requires a solid understanding of LIHTC, a keen focus on regulatory compliance, and operational oversight from construction through to property management.

• This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role that necessitates 25% travel to various communities.

• Engage in collaboration across development, construction, accounting, asset management, and site teams while directly managing both regulatory and operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in revenue management.

• At least 3 years of experience in LIHTC affordable housing.

• Experience with Yardi or Entrata is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must demonstrate authentic and genuine care for others and possess a strong desire to positively influence residents' lives.

• A natural leader and team player, with the ability to fit culturally and operate effectively in a fast-paced company environment.

• Strong skills in relationship building and communication, with the ability to influence and inspire others, effectively manage conflict, and engage with all internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient in communication and active listening.

• Capable of understanding and analyzing financial reports.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple assignments successfully.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once, even with frequent interruptions.

• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Working knowledge of MS Office software programs is essential.
