This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee a scalable data architecture that integrates product usage and telemetry data, customer success and support indicators, along with revenue metrics such as ARR, MRR, renewals, and pipeline.
• Standardize and harmonize data across various platforms, including Salesforce, product systems, and support tools.
• Create clean, reusable datasets designed for analytics and business intelligence purposes.
• Establish and standardize essential SaaS metrics, which include Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), expansion, contraction, churn, renewal forecasting, and pipeline coverage.
• Collaborate with teams in Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to generate revenue insights.
• Develop models to project usage and revenue growth, predict the likelihood of expansion, and identify risks related to churn and market saturation.
• Utilize statistical and analytical methods such as time-series modeling, cohort analysis, regression, and probability modeling.
• Create dashboards in Tableau that link product usage to revenue results, highlight accounts ready for expansion and those at risk, and provide insights into renewal pipeline and performance.
• Maintain consistency through centralized definitions of metrics and SQL logic.
• Over 9 years of experience in data modeling, reporting, and analysis, collaborating closely with business partners.
• Strong expertise in Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Proficient data modeling skills in SQL are a must.
• A proactive self-starter who excels in fast-paced and ambiguous environments while handling multiple priorities.
• Capable of conveying complex analytical insights to executive leadership and a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience with contemporary data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Profound understanding of SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, expansion, churn, and renewals.
• Background working collaboratively with Customer Success, Revenue Operations or Sales, and Finance teams.
• Previous experience in designing semantic layers, data models, and KPI definitions for uniform reporting.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Economics is mandatory; an MBA is highly preferred.
