This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.
• Deliver consultative services to partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors.
• Address intricate retirement plan issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the Relationship Manager to enhance client satisfaction.
• Proactively recognize, manage, document, and resolve client concerns.
• Mentor and coach associates on retirement plans and client relations.
• Clearly communicate services, execution, and resolutions to clients and advisors.
• Sustain relationships with clients and financial professionals.
• Provide updates regarding product and plan initiatives.
• Engage in the management of vendor relationships.
• Propel client retention, service levels, growth, and organic growth targets.
• Create opportunity plans with the Relationship Manager to mitigate risks.
• Proactively communicate about service delivery and share internal feedback.
• Organize daily schedules based on client and business requirements.
• Utilize knowledge of retirement operations and service industry.
• Review periodic activities of assigned plans, including compliance testing, Form 5500, quarterly statements, and RMDs.
• Evaluate client needs and suggest modifications to plans, products, or functionalities.
• Educate clients about plan features, product capabilities, functionalities, and processes.
• Innovate process improvements and solutions to reduce risks.
• Manage escalated client issues and calls, ensuring oversight and resolution.
• Mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
• Maintain internal relationships across various departments and locations.
• Act as a subject matter expert, developing materials and training others.
• Execute or lead special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of direct client experience is required.
• Experience in the Retirement Services industry is preferred.
• Certification or progress towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, business etiquette, client service abilities, and time management.
• Proven professionalism.
• Familiarity with financial services systems, including recordkeeping, trust, and trading systems.
• Experience with plan recordkeeping and trust reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required; Access and PowerPoint are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of retirement plans, ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations, and plan documents.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Capability to perform well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Aptitude for making sound business judgments.
• Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Ability to successfully lead a team and/or project.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong project management skills.
