Retirement Plan Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance to both internal and external clients concerning intricate matters related to retirement plans.

• Oversee quality control and conduct reviews for up to 200 small and mid-sized plans.

• Manage the preparation of year-end compliance initiatives for as many as 50 small and mid-sized plans.

• Address inquiries and review escalated or complex distribution cases.

• Aid in the execution of intricate projects and calculations, including missed deferral opportunities and plan audits.

• Support team members with research and provide consultation on plan administration endeavors.

• Engage with Client Service Managers and Plan Sponsors regarding complex plan issues as the designated subject matter expert.

• Collaborate with Plan Administrators to gather information on projects and assist in prioritizing project completion.

• Work with team members to enhance departmental processes.

• Contribute to achieving individual, departmental, and company key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retirement plans, with a comprehensive understanding of retirement plan compliance.

• Familiarity with daily recordkeeping processes.

• Possession of a QKA or comparable credential.

• Excellent and succinct verbal, non-verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail with a heightened sense of urgency.

• Ability to build collaborative relationships.

• Highly organized individual capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and a proactive problem solver who thrives when working independently.

• Possesses a "can-do" attitude with a client-centric focus, emphasizing accountability, credibility, and trustworthiness.
