Retirement Actuarial Externship - College Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 12-day, 84-hour Retirement Actuarial Externship

• Complete sample projects and simulated assignments

• Observe analysts in their daily tasks

• Take part in group networking, mentorship, team-building, and educational events

• Gain insights into Marsh’s Investments and Retirement business, including solutions, strategies, and technologies

• Network with seasoned professionals throughout the organization

• Create impactful solutions for large organizations and their employees

• Be considered for potential future full-time roles

⛳️ Requirements

• Progress towards a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, mathematics, or related business fields

• Expected graduation in winter 2027 or spring 2028

• Seeking students on the actuarial path who are interested in pursuing an actuarial career

• Commitment to obtaining a Society of Actuaries designation

• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future

• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• CPT and OPT options are not applicable

• Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

• Familiarity with data analysis

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to acquire new skills

• Ability to collaborate in teams and work effectively under tight deadlines and shifting client requirements

• Sharp attention to detail

• Strong time management, project management, and organizational capabilities

• Availability from July 29 to August 13, 2027, for up to 8 hours per day
