This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Attain monthly and quarterly sales objectives by driving growth within designated accounts through effective retail selling techniques and implementing customer strategies.
• Inspire Leadership: Oversee and motivate a team of full-time and part-time Merchandisers, from recruitment and coaching to performance enhancement.
• Excellence in Execution: Guarantee the successful implementation of sales initiatives and merchandising programs in-store.
• Consultative Selling: Deliver expert, on-site sales advice to customers, unlocking additional opportunities and executing headquarters programs.
• Strategic Growth Planning: Customize data-driven sales approaches to align with store demographics and customer preferences to promote territory expansion.
• Relationship Building: Foster robust partnerships with store staff to uncover opportunities and provide exceptional service.
• Resource Optimization: Strategically allocate merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf presence and sales volume.
• Advocate for Store Success: Manage product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables in collaboration with Full-Time Order Writers (FTOWs).
• Establish a Consistent Rhythm: Create and implement a strategic store schedule to enhance relationships and drive outcomes.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Operate in accordance with Mondelēz International’s safety and operational standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• High School Diploma or GED is required, with a college degree being highly desirable.
• A flexible work schedule is necessary, including availability for weekends and holidays.
• 3-5 years of sales experience is required, demonstrating a solid sales background and a comprehensive understanding of business processes and systems.
• Must be capable of performing physical tasks (frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.).
• Successful completion of a drug test, MVR check, and general background screening is mandatory.
