This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Formulate and implement detailed account strategies for designated key retail accounts to enhance revenue growth and improve market penetration.
• Establish and sustain robust, long-lasting relationships with senior retail partners through consistent communication, strategic planning, and outstanding service delivery.
• Assess market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements to pinpoint opportunities for account growth and new business development.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and promotional initiatives that strike a balance between profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure efficient account management and order fulfillment.
• Track account performance metrics, sales statistics, and KPIs to evaluate progress towards targets and identify areas needing improvement.
• Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to upper management.
• Conduct market research specific to the Mexican retail sector to guide strategic recommendations and account planning.
• Spearhead account onboarding efforts and facilitate training for retail partner teams on products, services, and systems.
• Address account issues and escalations promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail account management, key account management, or a comparable sales leadership position.
• Proven success in managing large-scale retail accounts and achieving measurable revenue growth.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the capacity to influence across all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (mandatory for position based in Mexico).
• Comprehensive understanding of the Mexican retail market and consumer behavior.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts concurrently.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
• Experience in retail operations, supply chain, or distribution channels (preferred).
