This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of multifamily customer accounts while identifying and cultivating new program opportunities.
• Act as the local program representative and main point of contact for customers and trade allies throughout the service region, from Blaine to Olympia.
• Enhance program participation and customer engagement through proactive outreach, relationship development, and educational initiatives.
• Create and present customer proposals and recommendations that align with energy savings and program goals.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of energy efficiency projects to meet participation and energy savings targets.
• Organize your own routes and schedule for daily customer visits and contractor interactions.
• 5-8 years of relevant industry experience.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, relevant industry experience may substitute for formal education.
• Establish and nurture strong, trusted relationships with customers and contractors.
• Regularly meet or exceed participation and energy savings objectives.
• Provide outstanding customer service and technical assistance.
• Efficiently manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Advocate for energy efficiency solutions that offer enduring value to customers and utility partners.
• Possess experience with multifamily properties, construction, or retrofit work, including heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation, or weatherization.
• Have some familiarity with or comfort in a sales-oriented approach; previous sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in people management is a plus.
• Hold industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED Green Associate, or BPI certification.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently throughout Western Washington for customer meetings, site visits, and contractor interactions. Overnight travel is infrequent, typically occurring no more than once a month or every other month.
