This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers, instructors, and training providers to shape engagement strategies and program support.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with essential stakeholders, including top-performing instructors, training centers, and institutional partners.
• Spearhead engagement with priority and high-value stakeholders while overseeing broader regional engagement efforts.
• Identify potential network risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to enhance engagement, performance, and retention.
• Accurately document stakeholder interactions, insights, and outcomes in a timely manner using Salesforce CRM.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Heart & Stroke resuscitation programs, standards, and policies to ensure consistent regional implementation.
• Articulate the value and application of offerings across various stakeholder contexts.
• Assist with program updates, initiatives, and improvements that align with national directives.
• Advise stakeholders on program requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Monitor program delivery and performance using the Resuscitation portal, Salesforce, and PowerBI dashboards.
• Create regional plans to enhance adoption, network reach, and overall impact.
• Promote partner opportunities that align with organizational priorities and objectives.
• Expand the instructor network by identifying and nurturing high-performing individuals.
• Stay updated on trends, stakeholder needs, and external factors influencing program delivery.
• Utilize performance trends and KPIs to refine strategies and support sustainable growth.
• Oversee Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution within a designated region.
• Lead or manage complex complaints and escalations in accordance with program policies.
• Evaluate risks and determine necessary actions, including escalations when required.
• Ensure documentation is thorough, accurate, and compliant with established standards.
• Address performance issues and facilitate corrective actions, including instructor deactivations when necessary.
• Guide stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and positive outcomes.
• Navigate complex stakeholder situations with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Encourage network collaboration and the development of communities of practice when appropriate.
• Represent Heart & Stroke to external audiences, reinforcing values, standards, and expectations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Support team development and capability enhancement.
• Establish strong cross-functional relationships.
• Ensure robust collaboration and alignment with the Resuscitation Support Centre (RSC).
• Align priorities and resources effectively to achieve regional objectives.
• Collaborate across regions to ensure consistency and facilitate the integration of new team members.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or business development, preferably within the healthcare, CPR, or first aid training sectors, or equivalent experience.
• Heart & Stroke Instructor certification and/or experience with other agencies is advantageous.
• Background in marketing and communication is a plus.
• Familiarity with provincial healthcare systems and resuscitation training agencies is beneficial.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is an asset.
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science, or a related field.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• A certificate or training in adult education is preferred.
