Resource Optimization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure real-time tracking of available personnel, client projects, and capacity across various service lines.

• Anticipate resource requirements based on trends in volume, renewals, new client acquisitions, scheduled time off, turnover, and client cycles.

• Allocate resources to clients based on skills, performance history, certifications, access, and availability.

• Track utilization and productivity metrics, including overtime as a percentage of total labor hours, to support margin protection objectives.

• Keep resource and skills data updated in QuickBase according to established procedures.

• Contribute to a weekly workforce digest and a monthly workforce alignment report.

• Attend weekly workforce operations review meetings.

• Proactively identify staffing risks and coverage shortfalls.

• Collaborate with Client Success Managers and Staffing Success Managers to improve operational plans.

• Assist in developing a cross-service-line flexible pool of resources available for deployment across various engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, resource planning, resource management, or a related field.

• Strong analytical abilities, including skills in resource forecasting and performance modeling.

• Proficiency in QuickBase or similar resource and planning software.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

• Capability to evaluate risks and promote proactive, data-driven decision-making.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Preferred: Experience in Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), or revenue cycle operations.

• Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare staffing models and terminology.

• Preferred: Experience in creating dashboards or reports; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
