This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Take ownership of and manage departmental workforce plans, which encompass headcount, open positions, timing, priorities, and status updates.
• Ensure that staffing plans remain accurate, current, and in alignment with sanctioned budgets, headcount allocations, and overarching company governance.
• Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team, leaders of business units, hiring managers, HR business partners, and the Finance department.
• Convert business objectives into distinct staffing priorities, identify trade-offs early on, and assist leaders in making feasible decisions when faced with capacity or budget limitations.
• Lead discussions on role scoping and intake to clarify business requirements, necessary capabilities, appropriate role levels (seniority and scope), target profiles, evaluation methods, and hiring schedules, ensuring consistent level calibration and enhanced forecast accuracy.
• Transform staffing priorities into a practical hiring roadmap and guarantee that the Talent Acquisition team has the necessary inputs, alignment, and decision clarity to succeed.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles such as ambiguous role requirements, unrealistic expectations, compensation discrepancies, interview capacity challenges, slow decision-making, or process inefficiencies.
• Deliver regular updates to leadership, forward-looking forecasts, and scenario planning, including business impacts, delivery risks, and recommendations for course corrections.
• Assist in business review and planning cycles with comprehensive staffing updates, hiring projections, and hypothetical scenarios regarding demand, timing, attrition, and budget.
• Oversee headcount allocation, replacement logic, and internal mobility moves to ensure staffing choices accurately reflect the organization's current state and approved capacity.
• Provide guidance on alternatives to external hiring when suitable, such as internal mobility, temporary rotations, outsourcing/outstaffing, or role redesign.
• Enhance staffing processes, reporting quality, data accuracy, and collaborative agreements within the department.
• Advocate for fair and inclusive hiring practices by clearly outlining roles, consistently assessing candidates, and focusing on diverse candidate pipelines.
• Assist in senior-level or business-critical hiring processes when additional coordination or support is required.
• Possess experience in workforce planning, staffing, recruiting operations, talent operations, HR business partnering, or another cross-functional role that intersects people, planning, and execution.
• Be comfortable working with headcount plans, budgets, forecasts, and leadership reporting.
• Utilize data and analytics to draw clear conclusions, identify risks, and support decision-making.
• Have a solid understanding of hiring processes and the factors that influence delivery, quality, and candidate experience.
• Build trust with senior stakeholders and constructively challenge unrealistic or unclear requests.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple hiring streams while balancing strategic planning with practical execution.
• Recognize the significance of equitable and inclusive hiring practices and implement this in role definitions, candidate assessments, and hiring procedures.
• Communicate clearly in English and manage sensitive information with sound judgment.
