Resolution Paralegal, Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Efficiently resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload.

• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in each case.

• Review and assess case files to determine the appropriate legal strategy.

• Independently evaluate case value, which includes reviewing QME reports and conducting depositions if required.

• Calculate demands, encompassing Total Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, and Future Medical needs.

• Manage case negotiations and settlements.

• Travel to designated trial locations as necessary.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in legal Workers’ Compensation.

• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing settlement metric requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation regulations.

• Proficiency in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze legal documents on digital platforms.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to multitask efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Bilingual (English + Spanish) is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams).

• Must be a resident of California.
