This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Schedule tasks at customer job locations
• Diagnose issues by utilizing technical drawings and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams
• Conduct routine maintenance and emergency services
• Evaluate customer KPIs to identify machine performance challenges and engage in problem-solving and maintenance
• Continuously enhance knowledge of customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications
• Install Packsize solutions and provide training for others on their use and maintenance
• Execute clerical and administrative responsibilities, such as responding to emails, preparing expense reports, making travel arrangements, and drafting technical reports
• Share information and ideas with both Packsize and customer personnel
• Comply with Packsize and customer safety standards and protocols
• Operate machinery by clearing jams, loading Z-fold, changing labels, replacing bander paper, and adding glue
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficient with Windows operating systems
• Effective use of hand tools
• Familiarity with mechanical systems
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Basic experience with Microsoft Excel and Word or Google Sheets and Docs is advantageous but not mandatory
• Associate degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate and convey accurate information
• Comfortable working in production facilities, warehouses, or manufacturing settings
• Ability to work in noisy environments and varying temperatures
• Capable of moving equipment, machinery, and products weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and step stools
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, carry, and reach effectively
• Availability for on-call duties
• Willingness to travel by vehicle or airplane within the country
• Overnight travel may be necessary for initial and ongoing training
