This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Conducts maintenance on cinema projection systems, digital signage, audio systems, servers, and power supplies, among others.
• Offers demand service to customers; identifies and implements a support strategy.
• Tests electronic assemblies, components, or parts using various instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, color meters, resistance bridges, oscilloscopes, and automatic or computerized testing equipment.
• Inspects equipment and assemblies for defects and replaces faulty components.
• Repairs equipment and conducts field tests.
• Addresses firmware and software problems.
• Oversees the investigation of customer complaints concerning quality, tolerances, specifications, and the delivered condition of products.
• Records, analyzes, and notifies relevant personnel in production quality and sales departments about the status and resolution of customer complaints and claims through written and electronic reporting.
• Installs and tests electronic or digital equipment.
• Logs daily activities in Field Point, including but not limited to work descriptions, expenses, hours, labor, and travel.
• Demonstrates ownership and is open to taking on additional responsibilities as assigned.
• This role requires travel both in and out of the market up to 70-80% of the time; it also necessitates the ability to work weekends, holidays, and be on-call.
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electronics relevant to the Pro-AV market.
• Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architectures.
• Preferred experience with digital cinema equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
• A valid, state-issued driver’s license is required for this position.
• Must be able to stand, sit, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated individual who can identify and resolve issues as they arise.
