Research Solutions Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive legal, business, regulatory, litigation, and competitive intelligence research.

• Create and implement tailored current awareness and self-service programs for attorneys, clients, industries, practice groups, and strategic initiatives.

• Develop automated solutions for monitoring, alerting, and tracking legal developments, regulatory changes, litigation activities, client news, market trends, and competitor insights.

• Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals to incorporate research materials into existing workflows and suggest improvements.

• Assess, test, and assist in the implementation of new research, knowledge management, and AI technologies.

• Act as a trusted advisor on research strategies, intelligence gathering, and the adoption of emerging legal technologies.

• Work together with Innovation, Marketing and Business Development, IT, and other departments on strategic projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Library Science (MLS) from an accredited institution.

• Proven expertise in legal research, analysis, and information resources.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and consultative abilities.

• Capability to convert attorney and client requirements into actionable research and intelligence solutions.

• Knowledge of AI-driven research tools, legal research platforms, Microsoft 365, and knowledge management technologies.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) is preferred.

• Previous experience in a law firm, legal information provider, or professional services setting is preferred.

• Experience with competitive intelligence, current awareness, legal technology, workflow automation, or knowledge management is preferred.

• Familiarity with the evaluation and use of generative AI tools within a legal context is preferred.
