This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Drive the creation and implementation of IT vendor management strategies to optimize ROI and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee enhancements and redesign initiatives for the IT vendor management process.
• Evaluate, analyze, and propose enhancements to current systems and processes.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and conduct assessments of vendor performance.
• Negotiate significant IT contracts to secure favorable outcomes for the organization.
• Establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for executive presentations and informed decision-making.
• Support the development and execution of IT vendor management policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with finance and legal departments on budgets, total cost of ownership, and compliance-related risks.
• Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and training.
• Educate and coach clients on effective management of IT vendor relationships and contracts.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor performance aligns with organizational goals.
• Engage in communication with leaders across all levels of the organization.
• Significant experience in contract negotiation, vendor performance assessment, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, procurement, information systems, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in IT vendor management, strategic sourcing, or procurement operations.
• Capability to lead and oversee complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong skills in analysis, finance, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with ROI and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Proficient in vendor management systems and advanced reporting tools.
• Experience in vendor management within a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
• Background in a large or highly matrixed organization is also highly desirable.
• Additional relevant education and/or experience is preferred.
