This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
• Overseeing and promoting Research Intelligence solutions across Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
• Meeting overall revenue objectives for a suite of scientific databases and solutions.
• Comprehending client requirements through a consultative approach.
• Crafting targeted strategies customized for the market.
• Adjusting sales tactics to align with market demands.
• Conducting annual account planning and execution.
• Analyzing sales performance and forecasts.
• Collaborating closely with government agencies on scientific initiatives.
• Collecting competitive insights and offering market feedback.
• Engaging in trade shows and conferences.
• Building and nurturing relationships with decision-makers at the customer level.
• Proven background in Sales with a focus on complex solution sales (minimum of 3 years).
• Experience in selling enterprise software.
• University degree; a Master's or degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in selling technology and solutions.
• Self-motivated, driven, and possessing strong relationship-building abilities.
• Experience in strategic account planning.
• Familiarity with specific areas of Research Intelligence solutions.
• Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• Background in working within an international matrixed organization.
• Experience in research administration and management functions is highly valued.
