Research Intern – Neuroscience, Learning and AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive literature reviews and conduct research on topics related to neuroscience, education, learning, and AI within the context of higher education.

• Assist in the research and analysis for an upcoming Springer publication focused on AI and its implications in higher education.

• Investigate how insights from neuroscience and learning sciences can shape educational policies and practices.

• Contribute to the development of policy outputs and recommendations, emphasizing neuroscience-informed strategies in educational policymaking.

• Write and contribute to blogs, research papers, journal articles, and various other knowledge dissemination products.

• Aid in the preparation, organization, and analysis of research materials and evidence.

• Participate in the creation of research briefs, literature reviews, policy recommendations, blog articles, public-facing materials, journal articles, academic publications, and the Springer book.

• Operate under the guidance of the Institute Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher in neuroscience, education, learning sciences, psychology, AI, social sciences, or a related discipline.

• Proficient research, analytical, and academic writing capabilities.

• Proven experience in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing scholarly research.

• A strong passion for the convergence of neuroscience, learning, AI, and higher education.

• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a remote setting.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in another UN language is considered an asset.

• The selected intern must possess health and life insurance.

• Candidates are required to submit a concise cover letter, an up-to-date and complete CV, along with examples of pertinent research work in English.

• The internship lasts for a duration of 2 months.

• UNU does not provide sponsorship for a working visa for this role.
