📋 Description

• Engage in ambitious research initiatives alongside researchers and engineers at ClickHouse Labs.

• Investigate significant research questions and cultivate innovative ideas.

• Examine technologies pertinent to databases, systems, and data infrastructure.

• Collaborate with seasoned researchers on projects that align with both academic interests and ClickHouse Labs' goals.

• Participate in ClickHouse’s open-source technology and engineering community.

• Disseminate findings and make contributions to the wider research community.

• Create research projects inspired by existing studies, academic publications, prototypes, systems, or ClickHouse Labs' priorities.

• Potentially co-author papers, advise theses, contribute to open-source projects, or engage in other academic collaborations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in computer science or a closely related discipline.

• Conducting research in domains relevant to ClickHouse.

• Proven track record of research excellence.

• Strong background in database systems, distributed systems, hardware, or related technical fields.

• Capability to independently tackle complex research inquiries.

• Previous experience with ClickHouse open source is preferred but not mandatory.

• Research, prototypes, or publications that could translate into valuable contributions to ClickHouse.

• Interest in pursuing research activities beyond the internship period.

• Potential enthusiasm for open-source contributions and academic partnerships.
