Research Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Implement contemporary software development methodologies throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience, preferably in machine learning and natural language processing.

• Knowledge and experience with Python software development frameworks and ecosystems.

• Capability to understand, implement, integrate, and deploy machine learning functionalities and techniques into other systems.

• Familiarity with Python data science libraries such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, and scikit-learn.

• Development of clean, reusable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Understanding of probabilistic models and the mathematical principles that underpin machine learning methods.

• Proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or a similar cloud platform.

• Experience with Natural Language Processing challenges and knowledge of Named Entity Recognition, Information Extraction, and Information Retrieval.

• Ability to translate research methodologies into engineering practices.

• Capability to incorporate machine learning solutions into production-level software.
