Research Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake of all incoming research contract requests, including clinical feasibility assessment, pricing analysis, legal review, and activation.

• Maintain an up-to-date contract baseline that tracks study progress, site assignments, modality distribution, and tier classification.

• Collaborate with site leaders, technologists, authorization teams, and research coordinators to ensure compliance with protocol requirements.

• Act as the primary operational liaison for active research sponsors.

• Manage billing setup and ongoing revenue recognition for research projects.

• Develop and cultivate a pipeline of potential sponsor relationships, including CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and academic research networks.

• Lead discussions on pricing with sponsors and develop proposals for new contracts.

• Monitor activities from CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and research sponsors in our key markets, identifying prioritized targets.

• Construct and enhance the intake workflow, incorporating automation where feasible.

• Regularly report on pipeline, revenue, and operational KPIs to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3–6 years of experience in clinical research, CRO operations, imaging, or a closely related commercial healthcare position

• Familiarity with the usage of imaging in clinical trials, expectations from sponsors regarding site partnerships, and contract structuring in research

• Experience in billing, prior authorization, or revenue cycle management within an imaging or clinical environment is advantageous

• Proficient in developing workflows and utilizing data tools; experience with CRM, project management, or process automation is a plus
