Research Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Educate and train clients on the functionalities and features of Dscout.

• Offer recommendations for clients’ research design utilizing Dscout.

• Support in the planning, designing, recruiting, fielding, analyzing, and engaging clients for research initiatives.

• Help create training and educational resources.

• Assist with billing and various administrative tasks for clients.

• Provide support and guidance to research participants.

• Relay client feedback internally to enhance Dscout’s product offerings.

• Collaborate consistently with product teams, engineering, sales, Lead Research Advisors, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree in design research, psychology, anthropology, sociology, market research, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

• An MA/MS in these fields is preferred but not mandatory.

• 1–4 years of professional experience, excluding internships.

• 1–3 years of experience in client-facing roles or similar positions.

• Proven experience in client service and relationship management.

• A history of interpreting client needs and consistently meeting or surpassing expectations.

• Strong skills in project and time management.

• Capability to manage multiple projects across various stakeholders simultaneously.

• Passionate and knowledgeable about user research, UX, and/or consumer research.

• Interest or experience in performing qualitative analysis.

• Ability to maintain a balance between friendly and professional communication.

• Proficient in working both collaboratively and independently.

• Adaptable and eager to learn.

• Diligent and willing to go the extra mile for colleagues and users.

• Technical curiosity and interest in research and technology.

• A sense of curiosity and empathy towards the needs and circumstances of others.

• Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
