Requirements Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert system requirements into functional and data models, taking into account both the logical and business aspects of the project's processes.

• Establish functional and non-functional requirements; gather, refine, manage, specify, and validate technical requirements.

• Analyze and prepare system development based on the client's needs and data.

• Design and execute system projects, which include data collection, alternative analysis, database modeling, documentation, user training, deployment, and maintenance.

• Evaluate system proposals and identify any inconsistencies or errors in requirements.

• Specify use cases and model business processes, functions, data, and information flows.

• Develop context, use-case, class, sequence, activity, function, and data diagrams.

• Establish decision-making criteria, assess alternatives, and collaborate with the Systems Architect to design systems.

• Estimate system sizes and evaluate architectures, system interactions, software capabilities, and computing resources.

• Organize and lead problem analyses and technical meetings; implement and promote Scrum practices.

• Design and supervise test and implementation plans in partnership with the Test Analyst, including interfaces for integrated module testing.

• Assess process compliance, implementation, and the overall solution quality, considering methodology, standards, risks, and limitations.

• Conduct feasibility studies and economic and financial analyses, comparing costs and timelines of alternatives with existing solutions, when applicable.

• Define user access controls for systems and data.

• Prepare recommendations and technical documentation for users.

• Evaluate integration and migration processes between high-platform and low-platform environments.

• Establish methodologies and standards for systems and applications on high platforms and their integration with low-platform environments.

• Design high-platform system architectures integrated with low platforms, and model and optimize data across these environments.

• Prepare the Statement of Work (SoW) upon request.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Requirements Engineering and elicitation techniques such as JAD, interviews, questionnaires, and prototyping.

• Proficiency in data analysis and modeling using UML, object-oriented approaches, and structured/essential modeling.

• Understanding of software development and maintenance processes.

• Familiarity with automated testing tools.

• Knowledge of system sizing, software project and architecture modeling, and software development methodologies.

• Experience in creating diagrams and specifying use cases and business processes.

• Competence in preparing user-focused technical documentation.

• Experience with Agile or similar production life cycles and DevSecOps projects and initiatives.

• Background in project management and use of Microsoft Project.

• Knowledge of multiplatform systems integration.

• Understanding of quality planning and management techniques.

• Familiarity with prototyping techniques and UX Discovery.

• Logical and business-oriented perspective.

• Knowledge of high-platform systems and their integration with low-platform environments.
