This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and respond to dealer communications through phone, mail, and email concerning statements, payment instructions, cancellations, missing equipment claims, chargebacks, unwinds, and inquiries.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Payments, Dealer Management, and Titles processes.
• Provide dealer partners with tailored solutions, including settlement negotiations and payment plans.
• Address dealer complaints, inquiries, and requests via email, phone, and chat.
• Employ conflict-resolution strategies during challenging dealer discussions.
• Elevate dealer and internal-partner complaints and issues as necessary.
• Analyze data to ensure that deficiency balances and refunds are accurately collected and distributed.
• Establish and nurture dealership relationships while collaborating with Sales to support new business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Payment Services, Sales Partners, Dealer Management, Titles, and other teams within Santander.
• Review reports and spreadsheets, conduct data entry or corrections, and work across departments.
• Record communication activities in the system of record.
• Complete functional processes punctually and adhere to deadlines.
• Undertake special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience — required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education — preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in the Auto Finance sector — preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Auto Dealer Services — preferred.
• Previous experience in Collections, Call Center, or Auto Dealership roles — preferred.
• Proficient in basic PC applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Intermediate to advanced typing and data-entry skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to educate customers on service or product solutions.
• Capability to respond to internal and external inquiries.
• Ability to comply with management policies, procedures, and directives.
• Ability to work efficiently both in a team setting and independently while meeting deadlines.
