
Collections Specialist II β Home Infusion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
β’ Oversee the billing and collections activities of third-party vendors.
β’ Investigate and address claim denials, rejections, and underpayments.
β’ Submit appeals to payers and ensure timely follow-up.
β’ Analyze claims, EOBs, and patient accounts to identify appropriate next steps.
β’ Amend and resubmit claims for reimbursement when necessary.
β’ Keep a record of collection efforts and actions taken on accounts.
β’ Engage with payers, patients, and internal teams to resolve outstanding balances.
β’ Uphold quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical collections, billing, or the healthcare revenue cycle.
β’ Familiarity with insurance reimbursement, claim processing, and payer guidelines.
β’ Preferred understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
β’ Experience with home infusion, Medicare, or DME billing is preferred.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
β’ Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
β’ For remote work, must have cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum speed of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
